Nectar award for Growth Engineering

Learning technologies provider, Growth Engineering, has won the award for Best Use of Technology at the 2016 Nectar Business Small Business Awards.

The Windsor-based company was recognised for its innovation in learner engagement and the company’s rapid expansion.

Since 2004, Growth Engineering has pioneered the use of gamification and social functionalities in online learning solutions. The success of its Academy LMS and Genie, a game-based authoring tool, has enabled it to expand to an international client base.

The Awards ceremony was held at the W Hotel on Wardour Street in London with a judging panel  comprised of business leaders including Sarah Willingham, star of BBC’s Dragon’s Den, who said: “Growth Engineering is a thoroughly deserving winner of the Nectar Business Small Business Awards Best use of Technology award. This is a truly great business, a really smart way to learn and its growth rates are incredibly impressive.

“It’s been incredible to see the sheer talent and dedication from all the businesses that entered this year’s awards. SMEs are the future of our country and Growth Engineering proves that with hard work and a clear vision it is possible to achieve anything. I have loved judging the awards and can’t wait to meet these eight amazing winners.”

Growth Engineering’s MD, Juliette Denny, added: “It’s brilliant to be recognised at the Nectar Business Small Business Awards and this win reiterates the strength of our business. We can’t wait to use the prize fund to treat the team for all the hard work they’ve put in which has enabled us to be in this position, and to receive first hand advice from some the UK’s brightest business minds.”

This latest win follows a series of awards in 2016 including two Brandon Hall awards and the Learning Provider of the Year, 2016 accolade from the Learning Awards. Growth Engineering are currently shortlisted for two more Learning Awards in 2017: the ‘External Learning Solution of the Year’ and the ‘Onboarding Solution of the Year’.
